This is a great book for parents which helps them sort through complaints that heir children may have with their physical and mental well-being. This helps parents to learn what symptoms are serious and urgent and what symptoms are less of a problem. Though the book certainly does not replace the need for a pediatrician, it certainly is a great help to parents in identifying health problem, assess its urgency, and decide what then needs to be done (call the doctor, go immediately to the ER, or treat at home. It's a great help.
